Steve Davoren - Partner
Steve is the Principal and founding partner of Davoren Associates. The firm was founded in 1978 and has grown over the years to cover many areas of law including Commercial, Property, Family, Criminal, Estate and Securities to name just a few. He has been practising law since 1978 and oversees the operation of the entire firm with the help of many long standing support staff.
Steve is a member with the Queensland Law Society. He has extensive professional experience in the areas of Property Law, Corporate Law, Construction Law, Securities and Mortgage Investment. He is the Managing Director of Assured Management Limited, a Responsible Entity and Licensed Securities Dealer under the Managed Investments Act and also holds a Diploma in Financial Services.
Steve has lived on the Gold Coast with his family all his life and enjoys an active involvement with the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club and the Gold Coast Turf Club. He is the honorary Solicitor for the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club and the President of The Carbine Club of Queensland which supports and raises much needed funds and assistance for Junior Sport.

Michael Coman LLB B Bus - Partner
Michael has been employed with Davoren Associates since 1990. In 1997 he was appointed Partner and has almost 20 years experience in handling clients legal requirements.
Michael is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and practises in the areas of Property Law, Commercial Law, Personal Injuries, Wills, Estates, Drink Driving, Traffic Law and Litigation. Michael regularly appears in the Brisbane and Southport Courts on police matters and various litigation matters.
Michael has practiced extensively as a Property and Commercial Lawyer over the past 20 years and has developed a large profile of clients in South East Queensland. The experience developed during these years has enabled Michael to obtain the most cost effective outcome and results for his clients.
The strength of his relationships with clients, professional staff and secretarial staff has proven to be an asset within the firm and Michael enjoys nurturing these relationships to ensure the prompt and professional delivery of legal services.
Holding a degree in Law from the Queensland University of Technology, Michael was awarded the Justin Geldard Memorial Prize on graduation. He also has a Bachelor of Business degree majoring in Accounting from Griffith University and a Diploma in Financial Services. He is a Director of Assured Management Limited, a Responsible Entity and Licensed Securities Dealer under the Managed Investments Act. Michael is also a member of both the Queensland Law Society and the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
Rebecca Ogge – Solicitor
Rebecca enjoys practising in Family Law, Criminal and Traffic Law, Sports Law, Court and Tribunal Appearances, Wills and Estate Administration.
After completing her schooling on the Gold Coast, Rebecca relocated to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Medical Sciences) at University of Melbourne. She then completed her Bachelor of Laws and enjoyed six years in the law in Victoria.
Since returning to the Gold Coast, Rebecca has been practising primarily in Family Law and continued to enjoy assisting clients to find practical and cost effective legal solutions, whether it is by negotiation and mediation or Court proceedings.
She regularly appears in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates' Court in property and parenting matters as well as Southport Magistrates' Court in police matters. Her highest priority is her clients and achieving the best outcome for them.
Rebecca is a keen sports fan and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Association. She continues to combine her love of sport with the law by assisting professional and amateur athletes realise their dream, in addition to assisting national and state sport organisations, professional and amateur sporting clubs and government sport and recreation departments and agencies.
She is also a member of the Queensland Law Society, admitted to the Supreme Courts of Queensland and Victoria and the High Court and Federal Courts of Australia.
Ambre Langdown – Solicitor
Ambre joined our team in July 2007 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2008. She predominately practices in the areas of Estates, Wills, Property Law and Commercial Law. She also enjoys all elements of Criminal Law and is working at increasing her experience in this area.
Ambre holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University, and was awarded Academic Excellence upon graduation. In 2009 she was inducted in the Golden Key International Honour Society as her university results placed her in the top 15% of the Asian-Pacific Region.
Prior to being admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Ambre worked for many years as a Paralegal specialising in Conveyancing, Leasing and Business purchases and sales. Ambre has extensive experience in meeting clients needs and is always available to assist.
She is also an active member of Amnesty International Australia, the Queensland Law Society, the Queensland Young Lawyers Association and Voiceless – the animal protection institute.
